April - One

I love how each of us have within us a talent.

Media is a very powerful tool. In the western world, the opportunities are higher. I say as such, owing to the opportunities that may not be equally found in other parts of the world.

I have been tuned into The Voice and its various editions.

Such great singers!

As it is I find One of Us by Joan Osborne so beautiful and emotional. This version by Sarah Simmons so very lovely.

So what is your deep rooted talent? I hope you are celebrating it.

Cheers,
Me

March - Four

The great leader LKY of Singapore, his current struggle with his health and the general admiration from Singaporeans who value his contributions to the growth of this tiny fishing village to its current stature of a nation to be reckoned with.

I came across an article of him and his wife.

Behind the iron fisted politician, a loving human being of a husband. The love story of Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew and his first lady Mdm Kwa Geok Choo is passionate and inspiring.

(Edited) Today on 21st March, I came across an article penned by his daughter, which allows for an understanding of how the man who is known as a leader is after all and beneath it all a human.

Love does indeed spring eternal is a poignant article by Dr Lee Wei Ling which was published in The Sunday Times, October 2011.

Amongst the critics of today's politics, I believe many would hold a special place for the founding father of this nation who will be the most iconic. He was a man who stood firm on the ideals that he believed, harsh as they way, the best for the goodness of the future.

MM Lee, all you need to know is that we are and will be better with you around. You are good for us, and please know that yours is a life that is entwined with every Singaporean. We are who we are because of you.

Come what may, you will always be the man who taught us, that no fall will keep us down and passion coupled with conviction will take us far.

Although nature is the ultimate winner, sincere prayers may help. Perhaps nature will hear us in our plea for your health. All is well.

March - Three

One down many more to go :)

Work hard, finish - repeat all over again.

When feeling stretched, content such as the following keep me going.

Life is too short.

Live life to the fullest! Just do it. Not for anyone but yourself.

Another article which reminds one to do the best.

Why is there no portal allowing me to meet INFJ's worldwide?

I find them to be people I can talk to, but I cant seem to locate them. If you are one, leave me a comment, and I will respond to you shortly.

I am interested to get to know people of varied cultures who are INFJs.

Looking forward!

March - One

Today was special. I met with ex-colleagues who are now friends.

The kind whom you know you can be yourself, and that will do just fine.

People who come along, be it partners or children for sure will be close as well - that sort of lovely relationship :)

Yennai Arindhal - Unakkenna Vendum Sollu

I find the concept in the following song rather close to my heart, and those two things I could do with much zest.

Oru Velli Kolusu Pola
Intha Bhoomi Sinungum Keezha
Aniyaatha Vairam Pola
Antha Vaanam Minungum Mela ....

Unaku Iru Kannai Thanthu

February - Three

Today is the last day of the second month of the year and it is beautiful. Everyday I learn something new and I am thankful.
  • Nobody is perfect, and that's just fine
  • If you were to take care of your happiness, and if everyone did so, the world would be happy!
  • Tough, uncomfortable situations only happen to teach a lesson
  • Some lessons recur, only because a lesson was not learn in the first count

February - One

January has been eye opening, pleasant, challenging and I am thankful for the experiences.

A quick visit to a neighboring country for a wedding was an eye opener. I missed a class for that trip, for a module which has been touted to be a challenge. It was an experience travelling with those that I traveled with.

Warmth of the people, the infectiousness of love, experiences in the form of breaking self induced barriers, people and their stories.

Work has been a challenge. Breaking boundaries, getting to know colleagues and their melting points. I learn more and better and thrive by realizing people's potential if their honesty comes through.

Education, is keeping me grounded. 7 is the lucky number - 4+3 is the way it looks.

I like how I am getting to know people, pushing my own limits to get to know others and I am pleasantly surprised by what intrigues me.

Closures happen for a reason, and one took place this month. I am glad for it. It allowed me the ability to move on and I feel a great sense of freedom, nothing tying me down.

Welcome February :)

I am stuck on three songs, thanks to the wedding that I attended which led me to another beautiful number by the same singer. The third song I found, whilst on the search of the wedding song.

Ellie Goulding - Love me like you do

This song is from the upcoming, much anticipated by many, 50 Shades of Grey. The lyrics of the song, parallels my feeling towards the book. Putting aside all that hype that its built upon, I feel for the human emotions - the result of childhood which leads to a greater need for success.

Sara Bareilles - I choose you, Brave

Her voice does it, and the music complements it.

I choose you is catchy, upbeat and the positive is all that makes it amazing.

Brave, is much needed, it reminds one to always be strong and to refrain from being on the receiving end.

January - One

This year will be beautiful, it will be enriching and it will give me experiences that I will cherish.
In so many levels it will be momentous.

Source : Unknown

I aim to push myself against my comfort levels, learn more, be prepared to make mistakes, grow stronger from it and to realize that people are different, the way they reciprocate is bound to be different. I will cherish those I love and those who are important, who consider me equally important.
